5-3-2024 - Thanks to the “Taste From Home Ministry Team,” for assembling packages to send out to college students.  Awesome work.  I presented Ophelia her gift this morning
5-3-2024 - Visited Bruce, Doreen, and John today.  Great time
5-3-2024 - Our Stain Glass windows have finished the documentation, Disebly, cleaning, and glass assessment processes at the studio and are currently 55% complete.  They are starting the process of rebuilding them with new lead. Please see the attached photos of the progress. They anticipate finishing the windows at the studio in June.    Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
5-2-2024 - The S@SP ( Singles at St Paul) gathered tonight and we discussed humility.  Then we went out to Thunder Bowl for something to eat and to share our own stories.  If you are single, come and join us next month
5-2-2024 - The St. Paul Taste From Home ministry team filled five boxes to celebrate, support and lift up prayer for five selected college students. Thank you to everyone who donated items for this important ministry.
5-2-2024 - The RACK M (Random Acts of Caring/Kindness Ministry) travelled around Alpena celebrating birthdays.   We visited Sue Keyes and celebrated with her 70 years of life.   Please keep Sue in your prayers.

5-2-2024 - Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of victory.   We are rejoicing that the NEMCMH (Northeast Michigan Community Mental Health) team gathered their consumers together for a day of celebration.  Please keep everyone involved in this ministry in your prayers.

5-2-2024 - The 3M gathered this morning to talk about the greatest love and the greatest hate. We rejoice that our associate member from Indianna (John) was able to be in attendance today. Come and join the faithful conversation.
5-1-2024 - The leadership of our Girl Scout Troop from St. Paul received a financial gift from the Trust & Endowment Fund in celebration of their service in our community.   Please keep the Girl Scouts and the Trust Committee in your prayers and we seek to make our community better.
5-1-2024 - The Choir met tonight and they were celebrating the promise of God in song.  A huge shout out to Marvis and Marty for all they are doing to help our music ministry sing.  Come and lend your voice in this wonderful ministry.
5-1-2024 - Visited with the leadership of Wilson School today.  Principal Jenny Marceau, the children and her staff celebrated the gift from the church.  Please be in prayer for them as they lead the next generation.
4-30-2024 - More work on the Sacristy with Dry Wall and routing wires.  A huge shout out to Dennis, Dick, and Jimmy for their servant leadership today. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue this mighty work.
4-30-2024 - The Girl Scouts of St Paul Lutheran were able to attend a dress rehearsal of “The Music Man” at Alpena Civic Theatre. Church members involved in this wonderful production are Doreen Kriniak as Stage Manager, Judy Byers as Prop Mistress and Marty Cantleberry and Aria Neumann as Actresses ( missing from picture)
4-30-2024 - St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church - Alpena reached out to the Salvation Army Canteen to offer support to this worthy organization efforts helping in emergency situations. Thank you to Dennis Dziesinski, Tim Moggie, and the 3m (Men in Motion for Ministry) for their efforts with the Potato/Ice Cream Meal who made this financial contribution possible.
4-30-2024 - Visited the Cancer Center with Dennis and Tim, and we met with Ann Diamond and the center staff.   Thanks to the people of St. Paul who are making a difference in the lives of those who are facing hardship and struggles.  Thank you to the Stewardship Ministry Committee and their efforts with the Pasta Meal who made the financial contribution possible.   Please keep the men and women who serve at the Cancer Center in your prayers, as well as those dealing with the myriad of issues that are associated with cancer.

4-30-2024 - Ana's Treasures (located next to Save-A-Lot) is an organization that is a resale shop that use their proceeds to help Foster Care Families.   Thank you to Dennis Dziesinski, Tim Moggie, and the Stewardship Ministry Committee for their efforts with the Pasta Meal who made the financial contribution possible.

4-25-2024 - The 3M (Men in Motion for Ministry) celebrated today by discussing the vineyard of Alpena and St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church - Alpena.  What a wonderful conversation about the proclamation of the Gospel. Men, come and join the faithful conversation on Thursday at 7:00 AM at JJs restaurant.

4-21-2024 - The S.A.L.T. (Sisters Abiding in Light & Truth) ministry leaders met this evening to discuss our small group ministry focused on younger women (18-45). We watched a movie called “Arthur the King,” this evening.  This gathering was free. If you are interested in being part of this ministry group please contact Rachel Techel, or the church office.
