Announcements for August 28 2026,

Condolences to: the family and friends of David McNeil, who joined our Lord in eternity August 22, 2026.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12th at 12:00 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with visitation prior from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

THE FLOWERS IN THE CHANCEL (foot of the cross) are given in celebration of Maxine Miller on her 100th Birthday, August 31st, from her family.

"Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning." - Proverbs 9:9. Please pray that this spirit of openness guides our council as they work to fill the open seat during this transition. If you are interested in serving or have nominations for a faithful leader, please bring those names directly to our church leadership.

The Bazaar/canning ladies are almost out of rings for canning jars. If you have any to donate, please drop them off at the church. Thank you!

The September newsletter is printed and in the Narthex this weekend. Please stop by the box in the Narthex and pick up yours. We are hoping this will cut down on our postage costs.  Also, if you would like to be added to the digital list, please email Jackie, jackie@stpaul.org and let her know.

The Forget-Me-Nots will meet for a picnic lunch and conversation on Tuesday, September 1st at noon at the church picnic grounds, weather permitting.  Please bring your lunch and a beverage.  Hope to see you there.  If you need a ride or have any questions, please call Ann at (989) 590-2055.

Reminder: Next Sunday is Popcorn/Movie Day for Children’s Church! Adults can sneak some too.
