THE FLOWERS IN THE CHANCEL (foot of the cross) are given for Father’s Day in loving memory of my dad, Harris Christopherson, from Sandra Christopherson.
 
ADDITIONAL FLOWERS are given in memory of our dad, Clint Kirchoff on Father’s Day, from Gary, Sue and Audrey.
                     
The Soul Sisters are kayaking on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month this summer. So, for June they will meet next on June 24th at the Duck Pond. If you have any questions, call Sue at 989-354-8673.  
 
Next weekend we will collect the noisy offering for the Boys and Girls Club, so bring your change!
 
Our June Service Activity is Alpena Baby Pantry.  Items Needed: Diapers - all sizes, baby wipes,       formula-all types, baby food, cereal, juice, clothes - newborn to 4T, and bedding. Please leave your donation items on the  altar and thank you so much for your generosity.
 
Dawn and Mike Yakes have volunteered to take the lead on our church float for the 4th of July parade. They are looking for hard candy donations (chocolates, caramel etc. melt quickly in the heat!), small waters, or freeze pops for the parade. Monetary donations will also be accepted. The Adventure Club will be having some summer fun as they head out to Arzo Amusement Park on Sunday, June 21st, at 1:00.  You must have pre-registered to attend. There are some height and weight         restrictions. The Adventure Club welcomes everyone from 1—105 years old.
 
The Kitchen Krew will be meeting on Wednesday, June 24th at 10:00 a.m.  We will see you then.

“Tidal Wave of Love” Summer Vacation Bible School is scheduled for the evenings of  July 28 – 30, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  We will meet at the Starlite Beach Splash Park in Alpena for tons of fun and sharing God’s love with others. Please come join us and think of little ones you would like to invite.

If you would like to make further donations to the Cancer Center, for patients undergoing treatment we are needing packaged nuts, crackers with peanut butter or cheese, rice crispy treats, candy bars, Jolly Rancher hard candies, oatmeal packets, pudding snacks. Please drop them off at Miss Linda’s office.
