5-28-2023 - On Memorial Day weekend we celebrate the men and women serving around the world in our nations defense.  Our Taste From Home ministry team received another photo from Sgt Mayes.

5-25-2023 - Thanks to Andrea for her efforts cleaning the church building.

5-25-2023 - An anonymous donation of three bags and a large tote of yarn and 10 boxes of jars was made today.   Thank you to our community, who is helping us make a difference in Alpena, in Jesus' name. 

5-25-2023 - And then they were done...   In all, 48 pews were repaired.  Thank you to everyone who made this possible.   A special shout out to Dennis and Jimmy for their constant efforts in this labor of faith. 

5-25-2023 - Celebrated Jackie's birthday today (a little late).   Please rejoice with me, knowing this servant leader has served us at St. Paul for 28 years.

5-25-2023 - Veterans gathered today in the Art in the Loft to speak about the past and look to the future that has possibilities.  On the eve of Memorial Day, please be aware, that some veterans carry with them "survival guilt."   (Guilt derived from surviving in wartime situations while buddies/comrades died). Please listen and if you cannot/won't please point them to me (Pastor John).   If you are a veteran please come and join us on the fourth Thursday of the month, at 9:00 AM in the Art in the Loft.

5-24-2023 - Had a sacred visit with Rosalie Turske today.   She was so generous with her baked goods as well.   Come and enjoy these treats during fellowship times.

5-24-2023 - A new movie that we are looking to sponsor, "The Breakfast Belles go to Washington," Starring Janie and Joanne in the leading roles.  Great conversation ladies.

5-24-2023 - Breakfast Belles gathered this morning for breakfast and we spoke about the fire/faith of Pentecost.  Come and join us for this spirited conversation.

5-23-2023 - Celebrated the life of Carla Wagner today, at her committal service in Evergreen Cemetery.   Please keep her and her family in prayer.

5-23-2023 - The ministry of Dinner on a Doorknob warming the hearts of others!  We will be cooking again in September after a 3 month hiatus to spend time with our family members near and far.
