2/15/2024 – Great to be in a community that cares.   a huge shout out to our neighbor Al Moe for snow blowing our entry way and sidewalk on this snowy day.

Miss Nena and I were invited to speak at the "Banner Realty Thanksgiving event for Alpena's Executive Heroes" (The directors of the helping agencies in town) today.  A wonderful time to catch up with these professionals who make a difference every day.  Thanks to Banner Realty, and in particular, Margie Haaxma, for hosting this worthwhile event.

2/15/2024 – Men's 3M (Men in Motion for Ministry) group still met this morning.  The topic of discussion was Church eye and banning super bowl commercials for future games.  Come and join the faithful conversation.

2/14/2024 – The ecumenical Ash Wednesday service was held at Grace Lutheran Church this evening.  Thanks to everyone who participated/attended

2/14/2024 – As I reflected on Ash Wednesday, I thought of those special servant leaders who helped start each season of Lent.  Dick, Bodo, Theresa, Bunny and now Mariette.  Thanks to each of these great servants of God.

2/14/2024 – The Lenten Service was a time to reflect and remember the promises of God. Come and be part of the Lenten journey at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church - Alpena on Wednesdays at 12:00 PM. A special shout out to Mariette Saguin for her help within the service.
