12/14/2023 - Met with the Assistant to the Principal Lauren Brown and shared with her and the Thunder Bay Jr. High School gifts (clothing toiletries, hats and gloves) from St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church - Alpena. Also, I presented to her a gift of $250.00 from the Good Samaritan Fund. Please keep all the students, teachers, and administrative staff serving in Alpena in your prayers.

12/13/2023 - The Bible Study Class on 1 John was a celebration and each person was as asked to write a letter to a friend.  Myra’s letter was wonderful and worthwhile so I decided to share with all of you.

12/13/2023 - The AARP Tax Team is preparing for tax season.   The first Monday in February (the 5th) is when they begin this process at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church - Alpena.   What a great ministry that truly impacts our community.   Please keep them in your prayers.

12/13/2023 - The Bible Study on 2 John was a celebration of sharing and inspiration.  Thank you to all of you who took time out of your day to come and share your life.   What a blessing.

12/13/2023 - The Advent Luncheon was a celebration of culinary delights and wonderful fellowship.   Great turn out of God's People.  Thank you to everyone who helped this celebration come together.

12/13/2023 - Met with Pastor Tom who represents the United Way in their efforts to support the Martin Luther King remembrance next month. We presented them with a gift of $500.   Thanks to the Trust and Endowment Fund Ministry Committee for all they are doing to make a difference in Alpena.

12/13/2023 - We celebrate the Friendship Room Ministry and the people they feed 6 days a week.   Thanks to Randy MacAulay for leading the ministry forward.  This financial gift came from the proceeds garnished through our Christmas Bazaar.  Thanks to Esther and her entire team for their hard work throughout the year.   We remember the love of Jesus during this season of the Christ Child and those who continue to touch our lives.  Lori Ludwig was remembered today, her love and ministry in Alpena.

12/13/2023 - We celebrate the Sunday Supper Ministry at Trinity Episcopal Church and the people they feed each week.   Thanks to Ellen Eagon for leading the ministry forward.  This financial gift came from the proceeds garnished through our Christmas Bazaar.  Thanks to Esther and her entire team for their hard work throughout the year.   We remember the love of Jesus during this season of the Christ Child and those who continue to touch our lives.  Lori Ludwig was remembered today and her love and ministry in Alpena.

12/13/2023 - I can still remember when I was a child, the gift of candy and peanuts that was given to the children after the Christmas Eve worship service, to ensure each child had something on Christmas morning.  A new member of the church asked how she could help our congregation and so she decided to donate gifts for the children of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church - Alpena.   Others servant leaders saw the need and supported this in-reach ministry for our families with Children.  I can only celebrate the love of God found in this expression.  Please speak with Miss Nena if you wish to support this effort or if know of a member of our congregation that could benefit from this caring ministry.

12/13/2023 - The Breakfast Belles gathered this morning to share their voice with each other and our community.   The voice of one made a difference today.   Come and join the faithful conversation.

12/13/2023 - The Stephen Ministry team met today at the home of Iris Arthur. We were treated to a holiday brunch, followed by the monthly meeting.

12/12/2023 - The Soul Sisters gathered last night to share in a meal and to make a difference in our community.  They signed Christmas Cards for residents in the various nursing facilities in Alpena and they are planning on delivering them next week.   Please keep these servant leaders in your prayers.
