What a very special day. The Gratitude Lunch Ministry Team prepared and delivered lunch for three agencies/businesses. Please keep these wonderful leaders in your prayers and celebrate with the Gratitude Lunch Ministry team their vision for service.
The 3M (Men in Motion for Ministry) gathered this morning for breakfast at JJs. We spoke about how people confront others and that we are still called to speak the truth in love. Please pray for these men and come join the faithful conversation. Remember next week we will meet on Wednesday at 7:30 in a joint session with the Breakfast Belles.

Our Advent Bible Study today on the book of Philippians was an opportunity to define the Joyful story of Jesus and to share our stories of faith.   Our time was inspirational filled with joy and laughter.  Come to the class next week so you may find joy in your faith journey.

I rejoiced with the leaders of the Thunder Bay Junior High School and their Pride Program today. I presented them with a check for $200.00 and items that will help their students. Pride stands for: P - Personal Responsibility; R - Respect; I - Integrity; D - Determination; E - Effort. Please be in prayer for the leadership in our schools and the safety of each student. Thanks to the community of Saints at St. Paul for the love that inspired these gifts.

The Soul Sisters gathered last night to share in a meal and to make a difference in our community.  They signed their names within Christmas Cards for residents in the various nursing facilities in Alpena to inspire the Christmas Season with Love.   They are planning on delivering them next week.   Please keep these servant leaders in your prayers.
I visited the Friendship Room throughout my time at St. Paul and there has always been a welcoming leader who inspired our community, with a vision to help people in need. Randy MacAulay, their shepherd, retired in November. Please keep him in your prayers during this time of transition and give thanks to God for this wonderful servant leader who made a difference.

Esther and I visited with the leadership of St. Vincent DePaul today and celebrated with them this monetary gift of $500 given by the Christmas Bazaar. This donation was also given in celebration of Annie Olsen and her life's work. Please be in prayer for this organization that is helping our community with food and other needed items.

Ryan stopped by today for his daily visit and he is celebrating the Lions win last night and the gift of cookies given to him from the "Taste from Home Ministry." He saw his mom and went bowling today. Please keep him in your prayers.
