The NEMCMH gathered at our building last night to watch a movie and celebrate a wonderful meal.   Thanks to Jessica for bringing this all together.  So many people came out for this wonderful event.
Met with the Scouts tonight. They were working hard for the event tomorrow
Met with the Veterans of Alpena today.   Great turn out this morning with these servant leaders with wonderful stories.   If you are a veteran, we meet every fourth Thursday at 9:00 in the "Art in the Loft."  Please come and join us.
Ryan stopped by for his daily visit. He is sporting new glasses. He is looking sharp. Please keep him in prayer.
The 3M (Men in Motion for Ministry) met this morning for breakfast at JJs. We spoke about God's the truth and freedom. Come and join the faithful conversation.

This year's book studies were filled with wonderful discussion, reflection, hope, and faith. Our 1:00 P.M. group for Luther’s Small Catechism for Adults explored the 7 signs of the church and the office of the keys. The same book study met again at 5:30 P.M., continuing this meaningful conversation. We also held our 5:30 P.M. Messy People: Life Lessons from Imperfect Biblical Heroes study, where an amazing group of ladies joined to dive into these inspiring stories. Come join us Wednesday evenings!
The Breakfast Belles celebrated today. What a wonderful conversation about the proclamation of the Gospel, the truth and freedom. Women, come and join the faithful conversation on Wednesdays, 7:30 AM at JJs restaurant.
Jimmy and Dennis found these fun items that represent a time long past. Pins and coins from LSSM and various other memorabilia were in a cigar box. Do you remember these items or do you have one or more of them in your possession.
The Church Council met last night to discuss the future of the church. Please keep these leaders in your prayers. Remember that this meeting is open to the congregation.

The "Dinner on a Doorknob," ministry team gathered today and made a difference in the lives who were able to partake in the meal provided. Thanks to Janice, Sue and their team for making this ministry possible.

The Adventure Club had so much fun this afternoon with Pumpkin Carving, Cider, Cookies and Wagon Rides at the Johnson Camp.

The human drama of athletic competition!At our Dynamic Duo Olympics, the Memory Laners claimed gold in multiple events, including the Spitting Game, Pop and Catch, and Bow and Arrow. The Old Parkers took home gold in the Yooper Ring Toss. After the excitement, everyone enjoyed a great time at the 19th hole to celebrate!
