Jim Nensewitz wrote,
"This was my grandfathers’ carpenters tool box. He came to America from Germany at the age of 28 years. He married Louise Laskowsky in 1918. Grandma lived with her parents on Campbell Street either next door to or a house removed from Danas’ mother’s house. Grandpa built the house they lived and passed in at 109 W. Baldwin Street, just a block over from Campbell Street. He passed April 1961 at the age of 66 years.
The box was passed to my father where it remained in his home until he passed April 2009 at the age of 87. The box was passed to me but I didn’t have a place to store it at that time, so I asked my sister to keep it for me. I even suggested she use it for a flower box. She would not do that as she was concerned that it would get wet and fall apart. There it has sat in a corner in her garage for 15 years. She asked me if I wanted it now. I said better yet, now that we have a workshop at church, I will donate it to the church and put it in our newly designed workshop. Dennis and I will find a place to put it and a use for it."
