12/27/2023 – Had a sacred visit with Gary DeRosia today. Gary was honored for his military service in Vietnam by Hospice.  Gary guides us to rejoice each day. He received a gift from Pastor John (Veterans Coin) for his sacrifice, service and love.
12/27/2023 – Had a sacred visit with Yvonne DeRosia today. She received a gift from Pastor John (Tree of Life Stain Glass miniature) for her vision, service and love.
12/24/2023 – The season of Advent is a time of preparation. We rejoice in the signs of this special season and our new members, Andrew, Ashley, Maelynn and Huxley Saddler. Please keep them in your prayers.
12/23/2023 – Turning Brook was visited by the Country Chicks on Wednesday night.
12/23/2023 – Thanks to Bob and Kathy Burton for the gift of supper. A Wonderful meal.
12/22/2023 – The Trust and Endowment fund from St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church - Alpena donated $500 dollars to the Sunset Project, who raise awareness concerning mental illness and nurture creativity.  Griffin Saddler received this financial gift from Pastor John.
12/22/2023 – Joseph Gentry & Shari Cloft, from the United Way of Northeast Michigan wrote us this note:

Thank you for sharing your generosity with us in our programs, especially Christmas Wish List. 387 youth will have a brighter Christmas because of you. Thank you for believing in yourself. 12/22/2023 – The Trust and Endowment fund supported the ELCA World Hunger Ministry with this check for $2,500 dollars. This financial gift from our congregation will help establish a well, providing water to a community in need.
12/22/2023 – Sue and Mary were working hard today to ensure the weekend services will be a celebration for all. Please thank them and pray for these selfless servants.
12/22/2023 – Had a sacred visit with Ricky Kindt today. Ricky continues to give life in wonderful and special ways. In making crosses as welcome gifts and Baptismal crosses for the individuals celebrating in the promises of God in this sacrament, Ricky guides us to rejoice each day. He received a gift from Pastor John (Tree of Life Stain Glass miniature) for his vision, service and love.
